Ok, so today’s the day. One of my main purposes for starting this blog was to highlight Project Life by Stampin’ Up. I LOVE this product. As you know, I am a busy mom of six kids and I also love to scrapbook. I did a really good job with keeping my kids scrapbooks up to date until kid number 4 entered the picture. Things just went down hill from there. Sound familiar? Well enter Project Life. I found that Project Life was the perfect solution to my growing problem. For those of you who don’t know, Project Life is the simple idea of pocket scrapbooking. Basically, your scrapbook page is divided into different sections and you use a combination of cards and pictures to create the page. It’s so simple!Project Life was the solution to my problems. I could catch up on my scrapbooking (still not current:) while maintaining my standards of cuteness.
Now I could go on and on about this, but for today I just want to show you a sample and tell the story. After all, Project Life isn’t just about pictures, it’s also about the story behind those pictures.
This page is about my little girl’s first T-Ball game. We are an avid baseball family and my husband was so excited to watch Reanna play her first game. She was excited as well. She dressed up in her uniform and we headed to the baseball field. When my husband saw her, he turned and grinned at me and said, ” I’m not sure I will be any prouder on the day she gets married!” Isn’t that sweet?
One more thing I want to say. If you’re interested in Project Life, don’t get overwhelmed. My best advice I can give is start where you are NOW!. I took this picture to show you that I started where I am right now. The month of June. My goal is to keep things current and as time permits I will catch myself up from the beginning of the year. By the end of 2016 I should have a beautiful book reminding me of all the things I did.
