Birthday Bonanza 12×12 Layout

Thank goodness it’s Friday. Today’s layout come from the January-June 2020 mini catalog. Hands down, Birthday Bonanza is the cutest stamp set in this catalog. These 3 layouts feature the Birthday Bonanza Suite.

This layout is fun because it features all the fun DSP, plus it uses everyone of the little characters in this stamp set. Aren’t those pom poms on their little hats so cute.

“Here’s the Scoop” features the ice cream side of the DSP.

I thought this layout would be fun for pictures at the Zoo or some crazy animal pictures you might have.

Well that’s it for today. Get those pictures out and get to a scrappin’.

Country Home Thanks

Today’s card is one of my favorites. When the Country Home stamp set first came out, I knew I had to have it. Something about that milk can just makes me smile.

This card uses the Tin Tile 3D folder for the Real Red background. I used a technique called paper piecing. You stamp the image on a pattern piece of paper. Then you cut around the image. In this case I actually embossed the milk can in gold. I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends. I finished it off with half a white doily and some braided linen trim.

There isn’t much involved in this card and sometimes that’s okay!

Ornate Garden 12×12 layout

Happy Thursday!! This month Stampin’ Up released a suite from the new Annual catalog coming out in June. The suite is called Ornate Garden and it’s so beautiful. So many flowers!!!

When I saw this paper, I knew I needed to make a layout for my daughter.

This was her blessing day. I felt like the pink in the DSP matched her pink blanket so well. This layout also features the stamp set Ornate Style. It also uses the Ornate Borders dies.

When I first saw this suite, the only thing I could think was GORGEOUS!! This is such a beautiful suite. The DSP is some of the best we’ve ever had. For my MKC class, we did 3 layouts.

I almost didn’t have to do anything with this page. The paper speaks for itself.

Since the first two layouts were very focused on the beautiful flowers in this suite, I decided I wanted to show that you can make layouts for anyone depending how you use the DSP.

Come Sail Away Mini Album

This was the first Mini Album I designed. I had see a few done on the internet and I wanted to try my hand at. I love the Come Sail Away suite and it was the perfect set up for a vacation.

One of the things I really like about these albums is how there are different sizes of pages going on. It’s kind of boring when everything is uniform. Using a 4×6 as its own page is a good example of this.

Another great feature of these albums is the interactive part. It’s like being on a treasure hunt. You never know where the pictures are hidden.

More interaction!!!

These Memories & More kits always have such cool little extras. This laser cut 3×4 card is a perfect example.

Well, if you like what you see, you need to try your hand at a mini album. At first they can be intimidating, but you just need to jump in and try it out.
