Normally I don’t post on Tuesdays, but I have something I’m excited to share with you. It’s a Mini Album class! I love Mini albums. They are perfect for documenting individual events like weddings, birthdays or my favorite, vacations!

This Tropical Oasis mini album is perfect to document any tropical vacation. It uses 6×8 pocket pages and also has many interactive elements to it. It holds over 60 pictures with lots of places to record your thoughts as well. Plus its designed to be put together from the comfort of your own home.

Magnolia Lane 12×12 Layout

Good afternoon! Today I am featuring a layout done with the Magnolia Lane DSP. I love the black pieces in this collection. I also think the cork board elements add a bit of character.

There are several different things to mention about this layout. First, I think we forget that we can stamp an image right onto our background page (the black swirl at the top). The cork embellishment add lots of texture as well as the ribbon & thread from the combo pack.

Second, don’t forget to use all the tools in a suite. For example, I used a Memories & More card for my journaling spot. I also used some of the stickers that comes in the M&M packs to decorate with.

Last but not least, don’t feel like you always have to have a huge title. I used a saying from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. It says exactly what I want this page to be about.

There’s an Elephant in the Room….

This was one of the very first punch bundles I bought when this catalog came out. Those little elephants were just so cute.

I love how there are several different items in the stamp set that you can make coming out of the elephant’s nose. This card is made using our notecard and envelopes sized. These cards measure a little bit smaller than a regular card. They’re perfect for baby gifts, wedding showers or those time when there’s not a lot to say but the occasion calls for something. I’m sad to see this set go.

Butterfly Gala Card

I love butterflies. They are so magnificent and wonderful. They truly are amazing creatures. Usually anything with a butterfly in it is a must have.

Today’s card features the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I’m glad this stamp set isn’t retiring but I am sad to say that the Highland Heather gingham paper is:(

Basically to make this card, I stamp the butterflies in black momento ink and colored them in the “fill in” stamp that is the same shape as the butterfly. Don’t you love that Stampin’ Up has started doing this in a lot of their stamp sets? It makes it so easy to color things in. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but each butterfly sparkles because of my Wink of Stella pen. Love that things.

I finished the card of with silver thread, sequins and a little bit of white baker’s twine tied around the middle of each butterfly. I’m sure anyone would love to receive a card that says, “Hello Beautifull”

Best Dressed 12×12 Layouts

This is one of my favorite suite layouts to date. I loved the way these turned out. The Best Dressed DSP has so many different prints and patterns. The possibilities with this paper are endless.

One of the fun things in this suite were the cards and envelopes. I wanted to incorporate them on the layouts. This was a perfect solution to having a journal spot.

This last layout is my most favorite of the 3. It’s actually a very simple layout but it just has character. The purse is the little purse that the All Dressed Up dies cuts out. I embossed it with the Tufted 3D embossing folder.

The one thing I haven’t mentioned yet are the little tassels. They are so cute. I tried to use each color at least once. It’s such a great accent to the purse.
