Good morning everyone! It’s Monday and I decided that I needed a little inspiration to get my week going. I headed over to the Mojo Monday challenge blog where they had a nice layout waiting for me.
I got my box of new catalog goodies over the weekend, but I didn’t have time to play with them. One of the first stamp sets I knew I wanted was the Fresh Fruit stamp set. I love these types of things.
I think one of my most favorite things to do with almost any stamp is make my own back ground paper. To me it’s relaxing and fun. For this card I used Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight & Wild Wasabi. Of course as I mentioned before the stamp set is Fresh Fruit. Other new goodies on this card include the Thick Whisper White baker’s twine and the new embossing folder, Sparkle.
It’s kind of hard to see in the picture, but I used the clear wink of stella pen on the pink flowers. I love this pen. It gives just enough pretty shimmer without the mess. And it’s so easy to use.
