April 2021- Product Play Project #1

04/06/2021 Lynda Day 2 Comments

Happy April everyone! Did everyone have a great Easter? We were able to get together with my whole family for the first time since last July. It was so good to see them. Hopefully you got to spend time with family as well.

Today I have the first project to share with you from the April 2021 Product Play kit. This month’s kit features the Well Suited and Hydrangea Hill Suites from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog by Stampin’ Up!

I am so happy with the way this card turn out. As I was trying to decide what I wanted to do, I realized I had never used the “Moving Along” stamp set and now it’s retiring!! All the little images in this stamp just make me smile and they remind me of my boys.

Did you know that I offer a monthly kit with a sampling of all the product from the two featured suites? It’s $25 and you get a little bit of everything. Here is what’s included in your kit:

  • 1/4 pack of Well Suited DSP
  • 30 inches of each color in the Well Suited Baker’s Twine
  • 1/4 pack of Hydrangea Hill DSP
  • 1/4 pack of Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Acetate
  • 90 inches of Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon
  • 1/2 pack of Pastel Pearls

To purchase the kit, email me at: simplystampinfun@gmail.com

This card would be great for all those 2021 graduates that are going to be graduating soon! They definitley deserved a “Way to Go” for getting through this school year!

Welcome to my blog! Today I have the last project that uses the March 2021 Product Play kit. If you want to purchase the kit, you can email me at simplystampinfun@gmail.com

This last project uses all Memories & More products from the Dandy Garden Suite. There’s actually no stamping!! Which is NOT normal for me, but I loved how it turned out and it was so easy to make several more as well.

In addition to this card, I also have 3 other cards that I made using the Memories & More card kit and Cards & Envelopes.

Kangaroo & Company

Happy Tuesday!! Today I have a Fun Fold card to show you. I totally wanted to have a video for you to show you how to make it. I even started filming the video, but something went wrong with the recording, so today you’re just getting pictures.

This Kangaroo is so sweet. This is also a great stamp set to have because it’s very versatile for many different occasions. It’s colored with Stampin’ Blends ( Smoky Slate, Real Red) I also used the Snail It DSP.

Here’s a look at how the Fun Fold card opens.

Thanks for “hopping by” today. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

January Card Club

Baby it’s cold outside!! But it’s nice and cozy in here as we make this month’s Card Club projects. Since Valentines is just around the corner, that is what we focused on tonight.

I don’t know what it is about this stamp set, but the lipstick and the lips make me happy. I love the black and white DSP in contrast with the pinks. This card uses, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Rococo Rose.

Next up Snail Mail….

And of course this little guy had to make an appearance! I don’t know why I find him so cute, because I DO NOT like snails in real life, but this little guy has “my heart”.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!! Happy Stamping!!

Queens Swap-JJ Mini 2021

Hello! Today I have two very cute cards to share with you. Every month, my Upline, hosts a card swap. We make 12 of the same card and then when I get my cards back I have 12 different cards. It’s a great way to get cards that are different from your stamping style or feature stamp sets that you don’t own.

This first one is my favorite. I actually won “Favorite Swap” for this one. He’s colored in with Stampin’ Blends (Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight & Real Red.) Everything else is from the Snail Suite.

This second swap is just as fun as the first. I used the Ice Cream Corner DSP and matching stamp set. I love this DSP because of the bright, whimsical colors. Also did you notice the fun Rainbow Glimmer paper. If you don’t have this stuff, you NEED it. It’s so pretty!

Well that’s it for today. Happy Stamping!!
