imbringingbirthdaysbackI think this is a great idea and I’ve decided I’m going to try and be better about sending birthday cards to my family and friends. My card today features some more Sale-A-Bration stuff. The stamp set Perfect Pairings and the Glitter Metallic washi tape. In case you forgot how much I love this stuff, you can read my post here.

SAB- Pedal Pusher Stamp Set

03/21/2016 Lynda Day Leave a Comment

Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true. This is the song I thought of when I saw the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set Pedal Pusher.  I. fell. In. love. I was so excited!

There are a couple of things that are so fun about this stamp set. First, you get to choose different components of the bike. It’s up to you to choose what goes in the little basket. Second, it’s a coloring stamp set. These are always fun to play with. I chose to color mine with markers, but you could use blender pens or even an aqua painter.

Once again, I used the “It’s My Party” DSP. This seems to be trend! I also incorporated the pink & black baker’s twine along with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

Remember, that if you spend $50 pre-tax, you can choose this stamp set for FREE!! Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st.

Botanicals for You-Wedding Style

03/16/2016 Lynda Day 1 Comment

Happy Wednesday everyone! Over the weekend, my sister came into town and it was so good to catch up with her. Today’s card is all about weddings. My mother is always telling me she needs another wedding card. So when I saw the new glitter tape Stampin’ Up released for Sale-A-Bration, I knew what I was going to do. Enter “Botanicals for You”. These two are a stellar combination, just like the couple that will cherish this beautiful card.

JFYWedding

Ok, for starters, I LOVE THIS GLITTER TAPE!!!!!!!  Have you tried it yet? It’s great for so many reasons. First and probably most important, it’s doesn’t leave glitter dust everywhere. YES!  Second, it’s just like washi tape. Very forgiving if you put it in the wrong place. Just peel it back up. Third, it already has the adhesive on the back. And last but certainly not least, it comes in three beautiful colors. Hint, hint Stampin’ UP I hope it’s in the main catalog this next year.

There are so many things you can do with this tape. I chose to make diagonal stripes across my card. Just a reminder, you can only get this tape during Sale-A-Bration. This is the biggest sale of the year. Spend $50 in product and get the glitter tape for FREE.

Happy Stamping!

Lynda

“Bunny Bait” Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bag

03/14/2016 Lynda Day Leave a Comment

It’s not very often that we get to celebrate Easter in March. Where I live it makes for a very cool Easter. However, we do have some little Crocus that are blooming.

IMG_0754 (1) This means that Spring is definitely on its way!

Now I’ll be honest with you, I’m not that big into Easter themed projects. However, there were these cute polka dot cone cellophane bags in the Occasions catalog. I decided to try them out. To me they look like carrots and I think that was the idea, but needless to say, I was NOT going to pick out just the orange jelly beans. So my carrot is multi-colored!

BunnyBait

Basically all these bags need are a tag. I looked around on Pinterest once again (you’ll come to find that I like Pinterest) and saw lots of different ideas for “Bunny Bait”. This was a great opportunity to dust off my Fringe Scissors and give them a go. It’s kind of hard to see in the picture, but I also added some shimmer with the new “Wink of Stella” pen in the Occasions Catalog.

In the end, I think it turned out really cute. Thanks for stopping by.

“Over the Rainbow” Bag Topper

03/11/2016 Lynda Day Leave a Comment

Good Morning everyone! I wanted to try and get one more St. Patrick’s Day project in so that you have enough time to make your own. This project it super easy and simple. Once again, it features the stamp set, “Over the Rainbow”

over the rainbow1

When I first saw the 2015-2016 catalog, this was my most favorite stamp set in it. It reminded me of Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. Also, the word “Lemon Drops” comes to mind as well:)

I’ve seen these little bags all over Pinterest and decided that I needed to try one as well. What a great way to tell someone “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”Rainbow Gold

Don’t forget to look at the supply list below and may the Luck O’ the Irish be with you as you create!

Happy Stamping!
