Gift Card Holder with Treat

My youngest son’s teacher had a baby a few weeks ago, so he’s had a substitute. Her name is Mrs. Huish and she has been so great to work with. I have enjoyed watching her in the classroom. Today was her last day and I wanted to let her know how much I appreciate the time she’s spent in my son’s class. Her favorite treat is a Snicker’s bar.

I also thought it would be fun to include a gift card to the movies. Teaching 21 children all day long is hard work!

The purple envelope is from the gift card thinlits and the little card features the stamp set Tart n Tangy. One of my all time favorites!

What She Wore Wednesday-Penguin

So every once in a while on my blog, you will see this feature of “What She Wore” It’s based on the fact that I love to create cards around the clothes that my little girls wears. Girl clothes are so cute!

Zoo Babies-Giraffe

Today’s card is inspired by Pinterest. I saw something similar to this using the Zebra stamp and Zebra Print DSP. I thought it was a great way to use those papers!

Flower Fair Thank You

Happy Friday everyone! Spring is in the air and it’s inspired me to dust off my flower stamp sets and create something Springy! Today’s card features the framelits Flower Fair.

This stamp set and matching framelits are so much fun. There are so many different things you can do with them. In this close up, I felt like my flower needed some texture. I pulled out the stamp set, Timeless Textures. Stamp sets like these are so great to have because you can use them on anything!

Beautiful Butterflies

As I continue to welcome my blog into the world, I just want to say that I love my design. The colorful butterflies make me so happy. I know I mentioned in the previous post that My Flutterby Moments was created to help us capture special little moments in life. It was also designed to help us create those moments. One of the ways we can do this is by giving handmade cards to others. Not only does the outside of the card usually make the recipient happy, but the things we say on the inside can make a world of difference. So you will see cards on here a lot as well.

Today’s card is based on my blog design. Do you ever have that moment where you finish a card and the outcome is so much better than you anticipated? Well that’s what happened this time. I LOVE that way this card turned out.
