Happy Wednesday. It’s the middle of the week and today’s card is SO FOXY!! I’m sure that when most of us first saw this stamp set, we all thought, “What does the fox say?” However, there are so many different things you can do with this stamp set. It makes so many different creatures.

To make the sunglasses, you could just cut them out of glitter paper. I chose to do things the hard way. I used the stamp in the set that is suppose to make the mask of the racoon eyes. I stamped it in heat ‘n stick powder and then poured silver glitter over it. It’s so fun to look at stamps and see how you can use them in a different way.

Project Life- Field Trip

Good Morning everyone and Happy 4th of July in the United States! As we celebrate the birthday of our country, I want to share with you a Project Life page from my little boy’s field trip a few weeks back.

This month we are featuring the Good Vibes kit by Stampin’ UP.

The colors of this kit are so bright and fun. They are Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron with Copper accents!

The accessory kit comes with this copper alphabet. You get so many letters, you could write so many different things.

Last, but not least is this little tag included in the sticker sheet.

Project Life- Good Vibes & Dinosaurs!

It’s Monday again and I love Monday’s because it means a Project Life layout!! Today’s layout not only highlights the Good Vibes Project Life kit but also the No Bones about It stamp set.

Ok, so to start things off, I just want to point out that I used 9 different photos in this two page layout. NINE! That’s a lot of pictures. As you can see, Project Life is a very quick way of getting those millions of photos you have into a book. Only 999,999,999 to go!!

Now some of you may be wondering why a trip to the Zoo has dinosaurs. Don’t all Zoos have dinosaurs? Anyway the kids love it when the dinosaurs come to visit our zoo. It makes for a very fun day.

One thing I wanted to point out in this picture, if you don’t want to downsize a picture, just cut it so it fits into two spaces like I did with the T-rex.

It’s always important to remember to leave one space for your Title card.

The other thing I will say about Project Life or any scrapbooking you do is to always Journal. Journaling is sooooooo important. I doesn’t have to be in your own handwriting but it’s very important to tell the story.

Last, but not least, I put this picture in because I wanted to highlight the sticker on the photo. This comes in the Good Vibes accessory kit. Don’t be afraid to enhance your pictures with fun stickers! (Don’t worry, no children were harmed in the making of this picture:)

Moroccan Nights

Good morning everyone. You know it’s funny, I’ve said before that I love to make cards that match little kids clothes. I just think it’s a great place to look for color schemes. Well today’s card is inspired by a bed spread. You heard me right. I was walking through the store and suddenly I saw this bed spread. It immediately hit me and I new I needed to make a card.

Now first of all, I just want to say that once again, you should never judge a stamp set by it’s cover. I received this stamp set as a gift from #Onstage2016 and to be honest, I was not excited. It’s one of those stamp sets that I would never just purchase on my own.  I thought, well, I’ll just wait until someone orders this and give it to them.  NOT ANYMORE. I really like this stamp set now. It’s not on the “love” list yet, but it might get there someday.

Now some of you may be wondering what the bed spread looked like that inspired such a creation. Well I went to find the picture of it and it was no longer there. It must have sold out. Sorry!

May Card CLub

So this last weekend was my monthly card club. It was a very hard decision to make about what to show my ladies. I finally decided on the Affectionately Yours suite and the Pop of Pink suite.

Our first card features the Love & Affection stamp set.

I think one of my most favorite things to do with stamps, is make my own designer paper. This technique is so fun and has such potential. It’s kind of hard to see in the picture, but the centers of the flowers are embossed with copper.

 

Next we used the washi tape from Pop of Pink and the stamp set Layering Love.

This card is one of my favorites because you could recreate this card with different washi tapes and it’s so easy to do.

Every month I try to do at least one 3-D item. I love these new clear boxes. They are just the right size for a little goodie that anyone would enjoy.

The design is pretty simple. Every quarter as a Stampin’ Up demonstrator we get a magazine called Stampin’ Success. This is where I found this project. I put a slight tweak on it to incorporate what supplies I had and it turned out great!
