13 Day of Halloween 2016- Project #2 Halloween Wreath

I recently went to a Stampin’ Up training where we made this adorable wreath. My friend Ashley Van Camp is the creator of it. Let me just say, this was so easy to do!

Basically you start with a foam ring (found at any craft boxstore) and wrap 1 1/2 x 12 pieces of DSP around it. Don’t forget to flag the ends!

Any wreath would not be complete without a little bit of dazzle.

13 Days of Halloween 2016-Project #1-Decor Frame

Today is the first day of my 13 days of Halloween. This is my most favorite time of year. I love everything about it. When I saw the Holiday Catalog this year, of course I had to have all the halloween stuff. When my new stamps arrived I chose to play with the Halloween Scares stamp set first.

I love creating home decor with my stamp stuff. This was a fun little scene to create. Making the sky was my favorite part. I just used my sponges and blended four different colors together. Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry & Elegant Eggplant.

 I know it’s very hard to see, but Wink of Stella! You can never go wrong adding a little bit of sparkle to your projects.

Happy Monday everyone! I know I’m late getting this post up. However it’s an exciting day because…. I’m putting out my first video ever! There have been many road blocks in my way, but I finally have something I’m happy to show you. Today is also exciting because for a long time I’ve been wanting to feature the Project Life card collections by Stampin’ Up. They are so beautiful and gorgeous. Check out the video!

Today’s kit is called All Year Long. There are 100 cards in this kit.

You get two of each card so that makes for 50 different designs.

What She Wore- Butterfly Dress

It’s been a while since I did a What She Wore Wednesday. If you haven’t seen this before, it’s where I take something that my daughter wears and make it into a card. When I first saw this dress, I knew it would be great inspiration.

I am amazed how often I am seeing the color Sweet Sugarplum everywhere! It goes so well with the Navy and Pool Party.

I LOVE this stamp set. It is so fun to build butterflies! There are so many different things you can do with it.

Project Life- By the Shore!

Happy Monday morning everyone!! Today is a project life page and I loved doing this one. Now the great thing about Project Life is the card kits and how they make everything soooo easy. However, you don’t have to use just the card kits to do your project life. You can use any printed paper you might have! Today’s pictures are all about ice fishing so I decided to use the By the Shore DSP!

Bytheshorepl1.wm My husband is a wonderful man because he takes our kids ice fishing at least once a year if not more. Every single one of them loves it. Even my daughter who got to go for her first time this year. To me it sounds too cold, but they enjoy it.

When doing project life, I always like to pick one space to be my “Title” if you will.

After I went through and filled the spaces I wanted with the By the Shore DSP, I still had a couple spots open so I went to the “Moments like these” card kit and pick out a couple different cards that would work. The great thing about this kit is that most of the cards are done in black and white so you can add the color you need to them. The blue and green circles were stamped on.

Just a note: when I do project life, if all three kids have the same pictures, I do the same layout three times. No need to reinvent the fishing pole! This child had less photos for some reason so I just adjusted the layout to one page instead of two.
