New@ SU!- C.A.S.E -Copy and Share Everything!

04/17/2024 Lynda Day Leave a Comment

Hello & Welcome to April’s New@SU! blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! This month we are C.A.S.E.ing someone on the team.

I have the privilege of copying the amazing Annette Elias who is from the Netherlands. She is a beautiful stamper and I love what she has to offer. The project that I chose to be inspired by is a card she made using the Cutest Cow stamp set. However even though that cow is so cute, he’s not what inspired me. It’s actually the beautiful background she put behind him.

Annette did what I call “crazy stamping”. This is a technique where you use your stamps and ink to create a background. Hers is so beautiful and she said that she modeled it after something called Delft Blue Tiles. You can click on the photo to see Annette’s original post.

Ok, so here’s my project for the month.

I had these 4th of July pictures and I decided that I would make my own “DSP” with crazy stamping. The Light the Sky stamp set was perfect. The best way to do “crazy stamping” is to start with the largest image you want to use and then work your way down to the smallest image. I stamped the largest firework in Real Red, finished with the smallest firework in Night of Navy. The other colors used were Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake & Tahitian Tide (retiring).

Now it’s time to check out the other beautiful projects from the other Team Members. (I can’t wait to see what the person C.A.S.E.ing me did!)

It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s NOT a card!! Hello & welcome to the monthly New @ SU Bloghop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! This month we are featuring anything but a card that uses product from the J-A 2024 Stampin’ Up! Mini.

The Bee Mine Suite & Bundle are some of the cutest product we have ever had. I couldn’t resist making a scrapbooking page to capture all those fun memories about people you love.

This little bee guy is so easy to stamp. I find it easiest to stamp the yellow body first and then stamp the black stripes on top.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed this project.

Scrapbooking Global- Fun in the Sun Paper Pumpkin Kit- July 2023

10/18/2023 Lynda Day 2 Comments

Hello! And welcome to this new blog hop for me!! I’ve wanted to participate in this for so long and I finally made it happen!! It’s called the Scrapbooking Global Blog hop and anyone can participate using Stampin’ Up product!!

The theme for October is using kits on your scrapbook pages. This is such a great idea!!! Kit are so easy and they make scrapbooking so easy!! Today’s kit that I am using is a Paper Pumpkin from July 2023 called, “Fun in the Sun”.

In the Fall of 2019, we took our kids to Hawaii, I knew this kit would be perfect for some of our beach pictures.

Look how cute these pages turned out!! The only thing I used outside of the kit was Daffodil Delight card stock. I also still have enough product leftover to still make 2 of each card. Using a kit made this super easy!!

Now that I’ve shown you my pages, hop on through the other blogs to see what they’ve posted!! Thanks for stopping by and keep scraping those memories!!

October New @ SU! Blog Hop- Let’s get Sketchy!!

10/18/2023 Lynda Day 8 Comments

Happy Fall & welcome to October’s “New at SU” blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are all using the inspiration of a card sketch!

I always love a good sketch challenge. They give me a starting place and help me to organize things in my brain. The great thing about a sketch is that it’s a starting point. You can take the things you want to use from it and leave the rest behind.

For my card this month, I chose to use the Garden Walk DSP and the Modern Garden bundle from the S-D mini catalog. I love this suite. The paper is so pretty and fun to play with.

I don’t have a lot of photos to share today, however I do have measurements
